- Windows (and other programs) aren't always able to identify modems. Manually go in
- and set the modem to a Generic 14.4k, or Hayes 14.4k. With this, you should be able
- to get a connection (through a term program like HyperTerm or whatever that one is
- called that's included in 95). Then you really should call Boca's BBS and download a
- win95 driver.

- Since you're new to modems, do you know that your modem's COM port works? Ie, if
- windows can't find a modem, it might be due to an IRQ conflict.
